The Griffin Studio Icon - The Sleeping Bag Coat

The Sleeping Bag Coat is a Griffin icon, loved for its cosy, extremely insulating body and powerful shape. This heavy long coat is created in Italy with a bespoke Griffin digital printed snow camouflage inspired by the brigade D'infanterie de Montagne. Whilst this coat is built to perform in snowy conditions it is adaptable for the city. 

This multi-facetted coat has been engineered using expedition detailing based on the knowledge gained from making and designing an Everest expedition suit worn by Nimal Purja. The chest is enhanced with central pockets secured with tough and durable RiRi Zips, positioned for ease of access.  

The hood is embellished with a sustainably sourced sheepskin hood to last a lifetime and can be removed to reveal a fully fluorescent snood. This hood is created with ex-Navy material which aligns with the high-performance qualities of Griffin outerwear. The sleeve is reinforced with a French camouflage Cordura arm patch for durability and toughness.  

The fabric is a 100% recycled Polyester Majo Tech 3 Layer Matte Black that offers superior protection from the elements. Luxuriously filled with responsibly sourced French duck-down for superior warmth.
