From outerwear legends to skating icons, global street artists to independent boutiques - Griffin Studio has continually collaborated with brands that shape culture, question the norm and seek innovation.
Outerwear : Re-imagined
For three seasons, Griffin Studio has collaborated with outerwear legends Woolrich. The debut FW18 capsule collection consisted of four reversible styles, blending signature Griffin elements (bespoke camouflage inspired by British DPM) + Woolrich's iconic Arctic Parka. re-imagined with an oversized silhouette, reversible detailing and vivid orange fabrication.
Griffin designed a sustainable collection for FW19 - recycled fibres, organic cotton and sourcing deadstock fabrics to be re-developed for a "second life" were the foundations of the collection.
Shot by Tom Kirkman and DOP Donald Christie, the FW19 Collaboration follows the design and manufacturing behind the collection - from the fabric mill Majocchi based in Lake Como, to the small family-run factory in Bergamo, Italy - the story is transparent. Using left over fabrics, printing instead of dying to significantly reduce water usage and mitigate polluting the environment, these choices underpinned the collection and created a point of difference against other brands.
Our eco-concious, luxury range was manufactured Italy, in limited numbers.
Second Life Fabrics
These are materials left over in factories that are no longer needed, or were over produced. We activley use these fabrics, giving them a second life.
Using Seaqual ™ The nylon is repurposed from discarded fishing nets, and woven into a usable, strong nylon.
Free from harmful chemicals and pesticides that negativley impact the environment.
Printing, not dying
By printing colour onto our fabrics, we significantly reduce the amount of water used during production.

The future is nature
Intertwining the connection between modern life and nature is the inspiration behind our collaboration. Creating products with purpose, dual functionality, detachable elements means that the wearer has so many more reasons to use the garments we produce. Prioritising fibres from recycled sources, organic cottons and minimising waste throughout the production chain is intergrel to our partnership.
Shot by Brecht Cuppens and Julien Mazard , the SS19 Collaboration visits the home of Griffin Studio, our design lab located on the wild Atlantic Coast. Shot at our eco-retreat Loveland Farm, and featuring pro skater Sascha Daley, the two brands explore the rugged environment from which the collection was inspired, what the future of fashion holds and creating products with purpose.
